- Neil Brendan Clark beamed across subspace
- Regarding: MCP and Jfif_dtc...
-
- Hi Neil,
-
- NBC> (visage, AMosaic...) the machine gurus with code 3. Not good!
- NBC> However, removing MCP beforehand resolves this problem.
-
- Did you ever see that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where
- this boy comes into sickbay and says to Dr. Crusher, "my arm hurts
- when I lift it," and Crusher tells him a story about a similar boy and
- says, "So the doctor said, 'Don't lift your arm then'".
-
- In other words, don't use Visage, Mosaic, etc... or ditch MCP. My
- advice... ditch MCP and use MultiCX and Assignmanager. I loved the
- number of features MCP had (some well into the "Bill Gates" novelty
- zone) but couldn't get consistent performance from it.
-
- I use the codec class and never had a crash that I thought was caused
- by it.
